This weeks APT Schedule

A tentative date of either Friday the 17th of June or Saturday the 18th of June has
been placed for the next round of the Australian Poker Tour. The location is the Neville St Casino & Entertainment Complex. If anyone has concerns about his date please post here. As always this is a democracy, so majority rules.

A Saturday afternoon 1pm start has also been mentioned. Please post your preferences/availibility.

Ok i sent out a text to a couple of you. Poker is on Friday night. To change it back to saturday at this late stage would be a total pain in the ass. So far we have gone from sat to fri to wanting to to be sat again. Either way people will miss out or be inconvenienced. I think we should have a formula of every second week its on a Friday, and the other weeks its on a saturday. That way we have the best of both worlds and a bit of consitency that people can plan their weekends around if needed. Will discuss this with you all tonight.

Round 1 of the 2006 Australian Poker Tour

The APT is set once again to expand its dates and venues into 2006. Coming up in the New Year, a new casino, the Mont Albert Club (run by the father of an APT board member) or the Mac Daddy for short (yeah you know that’s funny, its ok to laugh, laugh dammit!). However, the first round of the APT 2006 schedule is set for Friday Night 6/1/06 at 7pm . No venue has yet been put forward, however the ever increasing popularity of the APT should mean a venue is not far behind. Please post on venue availability and personal availability. This will also be the final time Be(linda) will be playing with us before her move to the European Poker Tour, based out of London . It will also be the last time Amanda has a chance to win before she becomes a year older (and realises life is no longer worth living like the rest of us). Welcome to the Australian Poker Tour (APT). This is in no way affiliated with the World Poker Tour, or any other Poker Tour. It's just a group of guys and gals who play poker a couple of times a week, in Australia , at different locations (hence the tour part).
