UPDATE - APT Poker Chip Telethon

Sunday June 19th - The APT “Help Us Help the Chips Grow” Poker Chip Telethon has been gaining momentum for the last week. A number of Poker Pro's have pledged support for this worthwhile event. To try and garner even more support the APT has release a number of options for the poker chip upgrade. These are at this time the best examples, however if anyone else has a suggestion, please let us know.

UPDATE – I have placed a couple of bids on chips. If I get them it will be a steal (less than $50), if not then we will keep looking.

I think unless we spefically want and want to pay for WPT or WSOP chips, then ebay is the way to go on generic chips. So much cheaper (as in half price at least). i have some bids in for some different chips. We'll see how that goes.

Round 1 of the 2006 Australian Poker Tour

The APT is set once again to expand its dates and venues into 2006. Coming up in the New Year, a new casino, the Mont Albert Club (run by the father of an APT board member) or the Mac Daddy for short (yeah you know that’s funny, its ok to laugh, laugh dammit!). However, the first round of the APT 2006 schedule is set for Friday Night 6/1/06 at 7pm . No venue has yet been put forward, however the ever increasing popularity of the APT should mean a venue is not far behind. Please post on venue availability and personal availability. This will also be the final time Be(linda) will be playing with us before her move to the European Poker Tour, based out of London . It will also be the last time Amanda has a chance to win before she becomes a year older (and realises life is no longer worth living like the rest of us).
